Refund policy for UK and EU customers

This policy applies to consumer orders shipped to the United Kingdom or European Union. It supplements our standard refund policy and does not limit any statutory consumer rights available to you under applicable UK or EU law.
Your 14-day cancellation right
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have the right to cancel an online order without giving a reason. You may cancel before the order ships, or within 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods.
To cancel, email us at hello@archiology.design with your order number and a clear statement that you want to cancel. You may also use this model wording: "I cancel my order for the following goods: [order number / item name], received on [date], name, address, date."
Returning goods after cancellation
After you tell us you are cancelling, please return the goods within 14 days. Unless we delivered the wrong item, the item was faulty, or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. If goods are handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value permitted by law.
Refund timing and method
For a valid cancellation, we will refund the price paid for the goods and the least expensive standard delivery option we offered for the order. We do not have to refund extra costs for premium or expedited delivery if you chose a more expensive option.
We will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you sent them back. Refunds are made to the original payment method unless we agree another method with you.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us at hello@archiology.design with your order number and photos where helpful. Your legal rights for goods that are not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or not fit for purpose are not affected by this policy.
Sale items and goodwill returns
Discounted, promotional, or sale items remain covered by your statutory cancellation and consumer rights. Any additional goodwill return window we offer, including a longer 90-day return period where available, applies only where eligible and never reduces your UK or EU statutory rights.
Items that may be excluded
Some items may be excluded from cancellation only where the law allows, such as goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized goods. If an exclusion applies, we will make this clear before you buy.
